Obligatorisch auch der Abstecher zum Gehöft Quinta do Barbusano, um den Weinerzeugungsprozess ab der Weinlese bis zur Verkostung des Weins kennenzulernen. Um die Reststrecke bis zum Städtchen zurückzulegen, braucht man nur dem Wasserlauf Levada dos Cardais zu folgen.
